Yes, the lessons are live on Zoom and will be recorded for replay. The lesson content and tasks will be hosted on Google Classroom. You will receive your child's Google class code a week before resumption so that you have time to get familiar with the learning platform. The live lesson schedule along with log in links will be sent at the start of each new month.
No, the lessons do not hold everyday, it will be held on alternate weekends to fit around normal school term. Do refer to the schedule to help you plan.
This will depend on their regular school schedules. The live sessions will be 1-2 hours long. After which, they will be given a task to complete and hand in to the tutor. Lessons will be held in the mornings and catch up lessons will be offered where required.
We offer monthly payments. The first payment needs to be made before the start of the program. You may also pay termly or annually. Please refer to your enrolment form for more details.
Depending on the quality of the assignments handed in, the children will be given a final grade of either pass, merit or distinction.
If your child is unable to attend a lesson, you must notify the tutor ahead of time where possible. Catch up lessons will be arranged as required.
Yes, your child's work will be published. This is our commitment to every writer that is enrolled on to the academy. Our aim is to nurture writing talent. The program is designed to enable writers of all ability develop their writing craft.
You may pay online or by bank transfer. Please see your enrolment form for details on how to do this. Of course, do invite your friends and family. We offer a discount to you and to your friend if they sign up! Just tell us and we will handle the rest.
